Marsha Kristen Howe began formal art training
in a summer program at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and
in 1961 Ms. Howe graduated with honors from the Philadelphia
High School for Girls with a major in art . She attended the
Syracuse University School of Art in Syracuse, New York on
a full-tuition scholarship and graduated in 1968, earning
a BFA in Printmaking/Painting. Having won many awards for
her designs and paintings, many of Marsha's work, including
a mural, were retained for the University collections.

While working as an illustrator
for Gibson Greeting Cards in Denver and later as a senior
illustrator with Current Inc. in Colorado Springs,
Ms. Howe has continued her printmaking and
freelance art. At present Ms. Howe is learning porceloin painting,
primarialy the European style. Ms. Howe lives with a persian
cat, a sheltie and her husband, Dan, in Manitou Springs.
